Sales Executive


Valamis Benelux is currently looking for a Sales Executive to join our office located in Amsterdam. As a Sales Executive, you will be part of a dynamic, global sales team consisting of 14 members across Europe and the United States. Your geographic focus area will be the Netherlands.

Are you a strategic and dynamic sales expert seeking a hunter role in a growing Digital Learning company? As a Sales Executive, you offer solutions for Learning & Development based on our technology targeted for large enterprises.

In your role, you will win with customers in your region in addition to being responsible for sales to current and prospective accounts. You will be responsible for achieving sales, profitability as well as prospecting customers, running appointments and closing business while maintaining day-to-day sales operations.

Responsibilities of the Sales Executive:

  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in the selected target customers
  • Administer concurrent sales initiatives from the lead stage through the life of the customer directly
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in the region
  • Create and finalize proposals
  • Manage sales activities including sourcing of new customers
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • Build strong relationships with a team, potential customers, and stakeholders

Qualifications of the Sales Executive:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B software solutions sales
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch
  • Experienced in using CRM tools
  • Knowledge of advanced strategic sales techniques, such as solution and value selling
  • Advanced knowledge of industry software and business terminology and concepts
  • Outstanding collaboration and communication skills, including customer-facing, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to effectively position and contrast competitive solutions to the customer
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
