Cheers to smarter learning: Jägermeister partners with Valamis to enhance the Meister Academy

Valamis is proud to welcome The Mast-Jägermeister SE to its growing customer community. The iconic spirits brand has selected the Valamis Learning Platform to help strengthen learner engagement and streamline its external training programs through their learning academy “Meister Academy.”
Jägermeister is known globally for its distinctive herbal liqueur and strong brand presence. With 150 markets globally, the company saw a need to evolve its learning environment to better support its external partners, including brand managers and market teams across the globe.
The goal is to bring its brand closer to learners and empower them with practical tools that support their daily work, no matter where they are. They were drawn to Valamis for its agile approach and the promise of a strong, collaborative partnership, and they saw the growth potential with Valamis in the LMS/LXP landscape.
One of the notable features of the Valamis platform for Jägermeister was the freedom to design and customize the learning experience. “There’s no complicated backend – simple changes are possible with hands-on configuration. We’re especially excited about the detailed reporting functions and the ability to record and track learner skills,” said Cara Reinecke.
With approximately 650 users on the platform, Jägermeister is focused on creating an engaging and intuitive experience that encourages repeat visits and deeper learning. The primary success metrics will include platform visits and completed learning units, with plans to eventually analyze learner interests and skills to better tailor content for specific audiences.
The Valamis platform also provides the flexibility to add additional tools and systems in later phases.
“Our L&D roadmap focuses on three pillars: engagement, content, and communication. With Valamis, we’re aiming to grow and align these pillars in a platform with room for expansion.” Cara Reinecke
Jägermeister expects to continue refining their objectives over time, with a focus on creating value-driven improvements rather than fixed numerical KPIs. “It’s about creating a strong foundation first and then growing in areas that matter most to our learners,” said Cara Reinecke.
Valamis is thrilled to partner with Jägermeister in creating a modern, learner-centric platform that delivers real value to users, and reflects the bold, dynamic spirit of the brand itself.
About Jägermeister
Today’s famous premium herbal liqueur was launched 90 years ago by Curt Mast. The recipe of 56 herbs, blossoms and roots has remained unchanged to this day. Traditionally, Jägermeister is produced exclusively in the small town of Wolfenbüttel in northern Germany. Bottling takes place at plants in Wolfenbüttel-Linden and Kamenz in Saxony. From here, the herbal liqueur in the distinctive bottle is exported to more than 150 countries worldwide.
The family-owned company employs around 1,000 people worldwide. Since 2020, the brand portfolio now also includes Teremana, the tequila brand founded by Hollywood actor and entrepreneur Dwayne Johnson, and GIN SUL, which is produced in Hamburg-Altona.
