Talented Learning 2026 LMS Awards: Top 10 Best Employee LMS

Each year, Talented Learning evaluates hundreds of learning systems. In 2026 it selected winners across six categories, and Valamis was one of 10 platforms chosen in the Best Employee LMS category. The category recognizes platforms that help organizations train their own people: onboarding, compliance, skills development, and support on the job.

Talented Learning selected Valamis for the way the platform brings personalized learning paths and skills development tools together in one place. It also recognized Valamis as a smart fit for employers that want to go beyond compliance training and support continuous employee growth.

Valamis has long stood out for its depth in employee learning, skills and enterprise knowledge, but what is especially interesting now is how the platform is expanding into more complete extended enterprise use cases. Its ability to support employees, customers and partners in one environment, combined with strong European enterprise experience, makes Valamis increasingly relevant for organizations looking to consolidate learning across internal and external audiences.

Training Industry 2026 Top 20 LMS Companies

Training Industry publishes its Top 20 lists to help corporate learning leaders compare providers in each part of the training market. Selection for the 2026 LMS list was based on:

  • Features and analytics
  • Market presence and brand visibility
  • Client portfolio and customer relationships
  • Business performance and growth

Valamis has been included for seven years in a row.

Jalen Banks, market research analyst at Training Industry, Inc., sees the LMS market moving toward more intelligent and connected platforms. “Leading providers are embedding AI throughout the learning lifecycle to automate workflows, deliver conversational experiences and support data-driven decision-making,” he said. He also pointed to skills intelligence, more accessible and personalized learner experiences, and analytics that tie learning to business outcomes.

What this means for our customers

Enterprise organizations need to know who has completed mandatory training and what that training has achieved. Each gets harder to track as an organization adds sites, contractors, and new regulations.

Both awards recognize the parts of the Valamis platform that make that work easier for L&D teams. Talented Learning singled out Valamis’s personalized learning paths and skills development tools. Training Industry, meanwhile, named skills intelligence and analytics that connect learning to business results as what separates the leading LMS providers.

Adelaide Airport shows what that looks like at scale. In ten months, it brought more than 2,500 people from the organizations across its precinct onto Valamis, with compliance training completion at 98 percent.

Being recognized by both Talented Learning and Training Industry in the same month means a lot to our team. The customers I talk to judge us on one thing: how quickly they can get a team ready to do the job well, whether that means a new site or a new regulation. That is what we build for. Thank you to our customers for building this with us.
