Enento Group: 90% training completion with Valamis
This Nordic leader grew personal development by 18% and raised mandatory training completions from 70% to 90%, making continuous learning part of everyday work.
Enento Group wanted to take their learning culture to the next level. As a leading provider of digital business and consumer information services, they were looking for a modern solution to support mobile, self-directed learning across their operating countries.
Working with Valamis, they brought 500 initial learners into the experience, inspired subject matter experts to create meaningful content, and made learning more relevant than ever through personalized paths.
Learning challenges
Before implementing Valamis, Enento Group faced a gap in their learning and development (L&D) strategy. The company needed a modern, comprehensive eLearning system that could support mobile learning and enable learning in the flow of work. Their training heavily relied on external content providers, with limited in-house content creation.
“We needed a platform that could give us flexibility, support continuous learning, and help us grow as a learning organization,” explains Heidi Hietala, Enento Group People Experience & Development Partner.
Without an integrated solution, it was challenging to provide scalable, accessible learning opportunities to employees across multiple countries.
Solution: Empowering learning at scale
Enento Group introduced the Valamis learning platform to transform their learning culture and improve training accessibility. Today, employees across all of their operating countries actively engage with the platform.
Two Valamis features have been particularly impactful:
✔️ Learning Paths and Audiences: The ability to create tailored learning paths and assign them to specific audience groups has made training more relevant and personalized.
✔️ Content Creation by SMEs: Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) can now create and publish their own learning content directly within Valamis, allowing for faster, more targeted training development.
“The combination of Valamis learning paths and SME-led content creation has engaged and inspired our people. It made our training processes more efficient,” said Heidi Hietala.

Measurable L&D results with business impact
One of Enento’s key L&D goals with Valamis was to create, and then grow, a continuous learning mindset by encouraging employees to develop themselves at a pace and time that suits them best. Since adopting Valamis, they’ve seen measurable progress toward this cultural shift.Enento tracks this through their Personal Development Index, measured via their internal pulse survey. Since launching Valamis in autumn 2022, the index has increased by over 18%, rising from 6.6 to 7.8 – a strong sign that more employees feel they have opportunities to learn and grow in their roles.
They’ve also seen a significant increase in compliance-related training: mandatory learning completion rates have risen from 70% to 90% after moving the training into Valamis and utilizing the assign feature for audiences.
Going forward and having more SME’s creating their own learning content, they are also expecting to see more cost efficiencies as reducing reliance on external content providers leads to cost savings.
Future growth: Scaling learning with impact
Enento Group is taking the next step with Valamis by making it a central part of their onboarding renewal. They’re launching:
Pre-boarding learning path to help new hires start their journey even before day one.
New Joiner’s path to deliver structured, relevant training from the moment they start.
They’re also planning to build a Sales Academy with tailored, in-house training to strengthen commercial competence. And it’s not just for sales teams, but across the entire organization.
By embedding Valamis into these strategic initiatives, Enento is a great example of how to build a more agile, scalable, and self-directed learning culture, one that drives business growth and builds capabilities company-wide.
